Just dipping my toe into the dizzy heights of the Championship and looking forward to the fun and games we used to have in the past......a word of warning though.....don't under-estimate the wurzels next season!...the lower league teams that play in red are having a ball at the moment.... Good luck next term guys! CCR
Well done Caldicot. You lot have thumped League One this season and that 6-0 result last night was a nice way to leave it. I don't know about the others on here, but next season will be all the better for having you back in the Championship. The battles on the pitch over the years and the forum banter on here and on the old Beeb 606 before that have been missed. Look forward to renewing old acquaintances next year even if you will be easy meat on the pitch as well as on the forum.........
Congratulations CCR. A thoroughly deserved achievement. Have to echo Sparkey's comments for next season though!!!
Cheers guys...looking forward to it!.......I must remind the Mrs to drive carefully around Cardiff when she goes shopping there though...I hear its an easy place to pick up three points!
CCR Do not take the pi$$ as a smack in the gob often upsets. Or did you mean pints? Brains is good for you, you know.
Fantastic result at Bradford...no easy team, but guess you really wanted it. Similar result to the one we inflicted on you a few years back when your manager tripped Chopra! Good to have a derby game back Cider...again well done!
Used to see a fair bit of Bristol C in mid 70's when was over in that part of the world temporarily, and couldn't get to Ninian. Some great old first division games there with some decent football. One game in particular though was bizarre. A full house of 30000 v Leeds was called off as couldn't see 10 yards in front of you due to thick fog. They'll not do a Bournemouth or Brentford though unless they invest in a better squad. They have some decent youngsters but rely on a 35 year old striker. Their manager may struggle at championship level like he has in the past. Will be good to see some local derbies again though.
Looking forward to having a derby game next season. Well done on your promotion, teams that find L1 piss simple tend to do pretty well at Championship level the following year
Yes have to say it will be good to have the Wurzels back in the championship next season, lets hope we get them at home on Boxing day for no particular reason than, it should be a full house.
