I’d have **** all to do with it, if my club was involved, I’d march to protest at it, I’d demand the owners **** off, as it’s not their club, the fans own the clubs, foreign owners are merely custodians. It’s our National game, and these ****s simply don’t understand it. There’d be murder if they tried to push ahead with this.

being totally honest, if it was included in my sport package I already have then, yes I probably would.

would I enjoy it as much as watching us in the prem? No chance.

Would I take w much greater interest in Brighton, absolutely.

So because Tobes doesn’t watch it, it means no one else does?

you'd be amazed how many morons follow NFL. I had a clown in work hammering on about it before she departed for the US when the brexit impact closed the place. She got her green card and her layabout husband got 30,000 dollars for "coaching" school football (as in SOCCER)

NFL is more akin to football than baseball is.

They might not care, but they’d be seriously underestimating the passion and determination of football fans imo.

Who pays a subscription for it outside of the US and notably over here? And who would? Start a thread with a poll.

    Crack on.

no literally i know NO-ONE who would watch the world series.

the NBA finals, the Superbowl sure, but not the red SAWKS or the yankees or whoever has won it leately.

would a yank know who won the ashes or the ODI world cup?

Under Kirkwood's guidance, the NFL has achieved consistent growth and now has more than 13m fans in the UK and is watched by more than 20m unique television viewers per season

The MLB makes around $8-10 billion a year
    The NBA makes around $7billion
    The NHL around $4-6 billion
Now here's the big one, The NFL around $10-16billion

Just because you don't watch them, doesn't mean they aren't profitable and arguably Football is worth much more worldwide, yet makes a similar amount.

I was talking more about if it was all done, sealed and delivered. I feel strongly that I'd have nothing to do with Liverpool at that point but, as you know, following a football club is like a religion and it's in your blood. It would be very difficult to just stop no matter how strongly you felt. None of us have been in that position so none if us know how it would actually feel in reality.

they should have the evidence from the 39th game debacle. I notice none have ever mentioned franchising (yet) so I am assuming they think they can just get away with this frankly.

I was thinking I'd probably try and take more interest in a team closer to home.

I know a few, not a third of people i know but a few. I've even left it on a couple times when bored. Its above rugby league in my eyes but not by much.

I would never specifically pay for it but its in the sports package on sky so you get it whether you want it or not as you want football.

I mean I get the wrestling through BT now whether i want it or not due to BT sports. Have not watched that stuff in 10 years.

With respect, you don’t follow them, you watch them on the box. I know exactly how I’d feel if this was my lot, I’d **** them clean off and never go again. As it’d go against everything I believe football is all about. I’d be done with it, and I’d follow a local non league side.

Just pasting what is reported on sky sports in terms of viewing figures. If you don’t believe it that’s your problem.

let’s be honest, You’ve made your mind up that because you don’t watch American sports, no on outside of america does. What ever proof anyone posts you’re not going to change your mind because that’s how you are. You’re always right and unable to have an actual discussion around something once you’ve put your opinion down.
