Amazing, back to the top! Wolves Cardiff doing a nice favour, but do we want to be so loftily perched so early in season? Hecka of a long way to tumble!
Screw that, winning breeds confidence and having points on the board allows you to play football when you're not looking over your shoulder
I think its down to the fact i have predicted wins, which for me is very rare! This season so far ITFC 11 SHOTS ON TARGET, 9 GOALS
Good to see new faces getting a few moments, well done Mick, you are astonishing us all! Whats happened, a full frontal lobotomy?!
Terrific effort, Town, well done you Blues! Just wait til we have key players back......Onwards & upwards. Great shift, such a change from last 3 years, eh....entertainment, commitment and results too.
What is our Shots to Goals ratio? Very effective and how good to have that confidence in the front line too. I might just wind up the motor and take a trip up East one day.... COYBs
A good game of football. Brentford, for all their possession based style, came up woefully short today. Our two CB's grew into the game, Spence did a lot of good work and Knudsen was in the zone by the end of the match. Iorfa was good, particularly when driving forwards. Kenlock was the target today, a lot of Brentford's play came down our left but he held out well with the help of Sears. You may as well forget about Sears being a striker, he's a winger now. He's well behind the other three for a spot up top. Waghorn was comfortable in our or their FB position and both him and Sears helped out the FB's well. Ward was much better in the middle today and moved out wide when Downes came on for Martyn. I just hope Mick doesn't use Waghorn as a winger all season. He has done really well there, maybe too well, but I think he'll be immense in the middle next to Garner. Garner was, well, Garner. Goes to ground to win free kicks and constantly winds opposing players up. I believe he was personally responsible for getting a yellow card given out to one of Brentford's boys. He was niggling in his ear after a challenge to the point the other lad raised his hands and pushed Joe, yellow card, thank you very much. McG was great again today, lots of good movement with the ball. All in all, a great team performance with no real standout performer or dud today. Well done lads
PRIDE,PASSION (and a little luck in front of goal)makes for a much more enjoyable afternoon at PR.Good strong performances all over the pitch.A better side than Brentford would have tested our makeshift centre halfs but as is often said here you can only beat what's in front of you.
