After the shortest of breaks here we are again. We welcome 6 new teams to the league and have lost 6 others. The principle is the same as always - you tip the results of matches and score points (or not). There will be 10 fixtures every weekend drawn from the Championship. Other games from other divisions could appear from time to time to make up the 10 (I prefer to avoid Friday night games or those on monday nights). The points system is as follows:

You get ten points automatically per round for remembering to tip the matches.

Over and above this you get 3 points for correctly tipping home wins with a wrong scoreline eg. you tip 2-0 and it turns out 4-0.
5 points for correctly tipping an away win with the wrong scoreline eg. 1-2 against 0-3
If you get a result spot on eg. 2-0 against 2-0 then you get 25 points.
If you get the win correct and also the score difference eg. 1-0 against 2-1 then you get 5 bonus points (giving 8 for home wins and 10 for away wins.
For draws the basic score is 4 points - for eg. 0-0 against 1-1, but obviously the score difference is also correct and so you get an extra 5 (9 in total). Obviously if you get the scoreline exact eg. 0-0 against 0-0 then it's 25 points.

Anything scored on Watford matches is automatically doubled.
In the event that you are the only one correctly tipping a scoreline eg. Sunderland v Ipswich 4-2 then you get an extra 10 for the unique scoreline (in Watford's case this would be an extra 20). So the maximum which can be scored on any match would be 70 (Watford correct scoreline and unique scoreline).
In addition to the Watford match you have one joker per round which can be placed on any other fixture of your choice (this can be indicated in any number of ways - either by bold script for the fixture or by placing J or Joker after it.
There is a 50 point bonus for any poster who gets all 10 results correct (irrespective of the scorelines) - up to now this has been purely academic because none of us has achieved it yet - the highest has been 9.
