Scorewise pretty average fare this week with 4 scores in the 80s and 3 in the 70s. But the big exception to this was NZ who conjured up 136, by far the biggest of the round. This moved him up three places to eighth. Another change amongst the top four saw Yorkie moving back into second at the expense of Paul. Attention now switches to the fourth round of the cup next weekend. ​

An afternoon of sub standard huffing and puffing for the Hornets I'm afraid. All the action was on here with pride of place going to Mrs Fez for tipping Leicester to win 5-0 at Stoke and placing her joker on it - thus leading to an impressive score of 144, the highest of the round and pushing her up into second. Only two others topped the hundred mark this week, Simon with 103 (being the only one to tip the Steptoes to win 2-1) and myself with 101. Congratulations to Paul for tipping a completely different week Mark is still scoring very consistently and starting to cement his place at the top, but still a lot of time for that to change.​

A high scoring round this time with 4 scores over the hundred mark. Highest of the day was by Hackney with 123 followed by Mustyfrog, Frenchie and Mrs Andy. Quite a few of us got Southampton to win by a two goal margin but not quite in the way it happened. Putting all our tips together this game was one of the few that nobody got spot on along with the games at Cardiff and Hull. Mark still leads though his lead has been cut a little by Yorkie in second who now has my beery breath on his shoulder - all still to play for with enough time left for changes before the end of the season. ​

A good weekend for the Horns and a much needed confidence booster. In our table here it was a difficult week to tip with no less than 7 away wins - check all your scores carefully because Mrs Cologne and her sister are practicing piano and violin loudly, and not yet professionally, very close to where I'm sitting so mistakes are possible !!! Highest scorer was Andy who was the only poster to tip 1-0 to the Horns. No changes in the top 9 places this week

Mrs Fez got her Joker game on the money, and three other correct results, so is her score of 53 correct?

 

Just corrected the table Fez - she got 83. Sorry about the mistake - we only had very sporadic internet connections at the weekend so I did it quickly - all the other scores were ok. luckily.

Getting harder and harder to know which version of the Horns is going to turn up on matchdays - once again we get turned over by a relegation threatened team and, once again, it's Huddersfield. Elsewhere Southampton and Sunderland also suffered shock home defeats which made our job on here more difficult. Nonetheless conditions were there for someone to make hay and Matej did just that by being the only poster to tip the Horns scoreline correctly, and this together with also getting the joker spot on contributed to a phenomenal 164 - nearly double the next highest. Mark has strengthened his lead at the top and Mrs Fez also did well. Third, fourth and fifth is very close between myself, Hackney and Yorkie. ​

Another disappointing day for the hornets. Very few changes on here as a result - in fact only two posters changed places with Fez being the only riser up the table. The big result of the day was by Mrs Fez with a score of 121 which takes her up to within striking distance of Mark at the top - this through being the only poster to tip the atford scoreline. Elsewhere nothing spectacular with a few scores in the 80s. Still all quite close at the top and still enough time for things to change.​

Another despondent weekend for Hornets fans - will another managerial change alter things on the pitch for more than a couple of weeks ? Very hard for us to tip, particularly for those who do it optimistically. Highest scorer of the round was Hackney with 115, putting him in third and within striking distance of the top places. One other hundred plus score from NZHorn. Third highest score was by Mark who is looking very consistent in poll position. Still time for things to change as we move towards the business end of the season
