5:30 kick off's fine for me. I'll go and suggest it. More people will watch on tv than will be at the KC so it'll increase coverage with minimum fuss or disruption.
No British clubs playing that night so tell Uefa to feck off and get the game Live on Sky or better still the BBC.
If we want it on tv just tell them we'll play it at 6 o'clock, it won't affect the travelling support much will it, in fact it might even be better since they'll get home earlier.
I've just checked and there's a Premier League game televised. York v Gateshead's going to take such a right chunk out UEFA's figures they'd hardly notice us along side it surely?
Slow down on that one. Its Live only on Premier Sports channel. Now who has that channel ? Very limited audience.
The lads aged 18-23 struggle with fixture congestion more than those aged 23-30 usually. A lot of the young lads at City are facing pretty much their first season of first team football and a lot of them are struggling already. Dudgeon (21) had to be dropped due to tiredness, Stewart (20) has started to feel the heat after coming back from injury, Brady (20) fatigued a lot at the start of the season, the list goes on. The team will almost certainly have to be rotated during that March period. As for 2 injuries not making a difference, what if they were Rosenior and Koren? Albeit unlikely but we will pick up knocks. We have been very lucky so far with injuries, let's hope it stays that way.
With the likes of Oli - Garcia - Simpson we have 3 who can come in and do a job. Dudgeon is getting his break now and it seams that Stewart will also have a spell on the bench. Yes it is a squad game and we can cope with March. Afterall the other 23 teams also have the same programme that month. Too much is made of age and fixture pile ups.
