A 4-0 thrashing is bad, even for a ‘nothing’ game, however one tries to dress it up.
It was our first defeat in 10 games. If we win/draw 9 games then lose 1 game 4-0 we’ll be ok.
It’s better to lose 1 game 4-0 than lose 4 games 1-0.

…… I’m running out of positive thoughts now!!

 

Didn’t we have a few heavy defeats the season we should’ve gone up but bottled it after Christmas? , as you said the odd loss, even a heavy one, is ok as long as the majority of games are wins.

That’s my attempt to be positive, now I need a lie down

 

Arrived back this evening from the land of peace and quiet ..... no internet and poor ohone signals!!!!!!!! ... actually love it!!!!!!!

Some sad news and some happy news greeted me ..sad first City failed to win last 2 BUT good news Plymouth stayed up and Birmingham went down... [ they shoulsd have a few seasons ago ] it serves them right sacking a manager doing quite well for a BIG name who failed ....
