Good article CFFP. I think on the negotiating side of things, a big help is when the player in question wants to move to your club. The selling club may feel that they should take a lower bid (asking price was probably inflated in the first place) instead of being left with an unhappy player. It also helps if the sellers are not overly flush with moolah and are thinking of a rebuild. Anyway fair play Marina...exciting times ahead !
She's done exceptionally well ,and seems to be on the same wavelength as Frank. If the defence really does improve then things look good. Now the task is to sell those players not needed and balance the books even more, especially getting the wage bill down. I'm expecting a few games to get all the parts of the machine working together, with the new boys being given time to adjust. Very exciting days ahead.
