So, half way through the season and, while its clearly not good enough, we're still in the mix for top four, CL qualification and, hopefully, kick in from there. Can see this game suiting us, Burnley are at home and so will at least attack a bit, where can hit them in the break. Sounds mad saying it but that's there we are, the MO is to counter attack. At Burnley! Shame we've lost McTominay but Pogba comes in there. I would expect the team to the same as Newcastle otherwise, with Dan James replaced by Mason Greenwood. Can see us winning by a couple at least. 3-1.
Probably attending an important bongo drum face and dance off with his fam. There are more important things to life than football sometimes.
I would generally respond to a post such as this with "ha ha ha ha". But sadly for us and pleasure from Mr Pogba, it most isn't too far from the truth. Just wait for the Instagram video.
A point off fourth spot at this point in the season wins nothing, albeit its a better performance than many of us were expecting from the side a few months ago. Hopefully we can sustain the improvement and keep the pressure up on Lampard's side and fend of the likes of Spurs. Wolves will be a tough test for us.
After 20 games... Arsenal are beyond sh** at this point. This season is like no other in my lifetime. The gap between second and seventh is 12 points, yet Liverpool are out all the way out in front over Leicester in what may turn into 16 points with their game in hand. Essentially, every team between 3rd and 6th has been pants compared to normal standards and that has directly handed the initiative to Liverpool to horde points. Almost unfathomable that we have been the only team to take points off them after 20 games. I want to get excited that we are getting better, but when I look at our form in the last 10 games - we have managed 5 wins, 3 draws and 2 loses. That is 2 wins better than first 10 games which doesn't provide enough evidence to suggest we have turned the corner. We need at least 7 wins from the next ten games to stake a claim toward top 4. Let's hope we can make Arsenal's misery worse when we meet on Wednesday.
