A very different challenge to be sure, but one that the players can attack head on. I hope there's no hint of 'after the lord mayors show'. No easy games in this league, with the increased physicality of Dyche's Burnley, I hope to see the same more street wise midfield. Bah!
As a club, Burnley have achieved through Dyche what I hope we can do under Farke. Nobody gave them a hope when they got promoted and without spending very much money, Dyche to his immense credit, has developed a side that is hard to beat, is reasonably entertaining and has become established at the top table in a short period of time. What Farke has done at CR is amazing. One of the things came through loud and clear on Saturday might was the respect that he has for the owners and how the owners are grateful and totally supportive of SW and DF, it is a wonderful relationship from which the club as a whole benefits and the fans are benefiting and contributing to. The game this Saturday will be very difficult as Burnley will have this down as a home win and will be very difficult to beat. I would gladly take a draw and hope above anything that we do not pick up any more injuries, there is a limit as to how many times we can visit that particular well.
It's not just the number of injuries that is a concern, but also the severity of them and we could certainly benefit from surviving the next few games without picking up any more.
Hear hear re what Dyche has achieved. However, in my arrogance and pride for Norwich, and perhaps this is too biased, but I really believe our team are a much better one to watch.
Well Lawro predicting a sixth consecutive defeat. Playing at Turf Moor is a very different thing from at home to Citeh apparently. I just wonder whether we will go all season without him predicting a point. He does at least concede that having predicted a blank sheet Teemu will probably score.
A little preview of Saturday’s game courtesy of DDF – “Pukki is one of the most economical forwards in the country at present. Of the 17 shots he's had in the league, 12 of them have been on target while half of those have hit the back of the net.” Freezer continued: "We'd never heard of him when he first signed, but he's on a ridiculous roll now. It wasn't a total disaster for him at Celtic, but he went out to Denmark and got all his confidence by scoring a lot of goals for Brondby. "He works really hard, he's a team player, he's not a prima donna at all and he'll take his chances when they come. He's a special player, he won a lot of awards in the Championship and now he's been voted the Premier League Player of the Month. It's an unbelievable story.” https://www.pendletoday.co.uk/sport...ich-city-face-burnley-at-turf-moor-1-10003058

Almost certainly products of the English education system which teaches that spelling and grammar don't matter if the audience understand you. We all know who they mean don't we? Incidentally, how many of us remember Tommy Handley (those that don't will probably be asking when he played for us)
Mona Lott was a regular in the old South Stand Dave! Must have led a promiscuous life judging by the usual suspects on Canary Call ...............
I had no idea who he was, a quick google later and not even a slight recollection. For me old classic stuff is still younger than this! Bah!
