Match Day Thread Burnley vs Southampton - Saturday, 24th February @ 15:00

Due to a service outage, the infamous 'match thread' duties have been taken away from our usual contributor. This Herculean task of perception, perspicacity and perversion will be subject to a joint effort from the Not606 Saints board.



- Losing this game would be ****ing unacceptable. The ****ing useless ****er of a ****ing so called manager that is busy ****ing up our ****ing club is an outrage. It's Burnley for **** sake and it's absolutely incomprehensible that we're so ****ing **** that we ****ing lose this game. Every player in our team is ****ing useless and should be shot. Unlike referees. Who only need love.

- I'm looking forward to this one personally. Up the Saints. Burnley is a great place. Great plastics. Not as in plastic fans, just plastic. I love plastic. And Kylie. Who is, coincidentally 19.7% plastic. Burnley used to be a mill town actually. Does anyone remember Roger Milla? Miller Time. It's difficult for some of you to be able to understand the impact of the runs Roger Milla used to make for Cameroon unless you've played football to a reasonable level, like I have.

- I've been considering this game very deeply whilst listening to the syncopations within Miles Davis' seminal piece Kind Of Blue. I must say the Englishman is doing a fine job, far better than the Frenchman who was the worst human to ever stalk the earth, or the Spaniard, who is doing a pretty dismal job. Better than the Frenchman though. Anything is. Except Ward-Prowse, who is championship level at best, and who I don't think offers enough to the team.

- They'd be better off with Graeme Murty I think. The reincarnation of Sir Alex, I think he'd do a brilliant job for us, them, an arbitrary Spanish team. Even for my beloved Spurs.

- This team 'Burnley' should definitely be 'beatable' in this game. I'm 'looking forward' to seeing what team the manager 'puts out'. Haven't really paid much attention to Burnley's latest results but just a quick look and they haven't been great overall. After winning our cup final by having Wigan beat Man City I can see the team being still hungover from the celebrations and we will lose 1-0.
