Trotta has decided that he does not want to extend his loan with us and instead wants to try his chances in the championship. I for one can't blame him for wanting to play at a higher level and for a club that isn't struggling. Thanks for your efforts "Rodney" and you will be welcome back at Adams Park anytime. Now the pressure is on GW to find another striker like Trotta to fire us to survival.
I can't blame him as I think he will do well in the Championship, and good luck to him. I'm gutted though. I'm sure Waddock is on the case for a replacement and hopefully it is soon!
Just heard about this myself. Has he got a club in the Championship lined up do you guys know? He might be tempted to try his luck with us! Glad he did well with you guys. Best of luck for the rest of the season - I'll be keeping an eye out for your results. Oh, and thanks for the "Rodney" nickname, I think that's going to stick!
****. That's all we needed. Still, as has been said, can't blame him for wanting to move on. Good luck Rodney. Look forward to watching whoever you play for.
I to feel sorry for Wycombe, but his stint at their club was probably a benefit to all concerned. I am gland from Fulhams point of view, that he is looking to join a championship side,as this will greatly test his ability, rumor is a London and a south coast side are trying to secure his services. "Bidley" the Rodney name was given long before his Wycombe adventure.
I too thought he would stay there for the rest of the season, Jol seemed perfectly happy for him to stay so there has to be a Championship club lined up to take him on loan. Southampton would be the perfect club for him to be honest, good free flowing football and they actually win some games
best wishes to rodney for the future,he is a class act and i am sure he will make it to the top, thanks to martin jol and fulham for loaning him to us ,but i am gutted to see him go
Nice to see he has ambition to test himself at a higher level. Good luck to Wycombe for the rest of the season. Hopefully he will have a similar goalscoring record in the Championship. I can't see how he would not want an extension unless he already had a Championship team lined up.
i was very impressed with trotta when he was in front of goal he never panicked and seemed to pass the ball into the net ,a sign of a class striker
Spot on Rocky, Rodders was so instinctive in front of goal and knew where he needed to be. He's scored our last 6 goals and we need to somehow replace that to stand a chance of survival. And that won't be easy.
good luck to rodders, he is a fantastic player and im gutted to see him go...good to see he is showing ambition but wish we could have kept him.... now, i hope rendell or mcclure see thier chance and step up to the plate. either that or waddock finds a more perminant solution to our goalscoring
I'm worried, only beva is good enough for lg 1. are other striking options r not good enough. gw get someone in before Saturday please.
