Oh dear, the boy could be in deep **** now. Let's hope this charge is false for the lads' sake, but either way, this kind of mess is needed like a hole in the head. There has to be some kind of behavioural mentoring by all Clubs, to keep these young overpaid and privilaged kids from damaging their lives. Too many of them get into trouble off the pitch. This could drag on for many months, and will not be what Frank wants. Willian might just get that contract extension he is after? Something like this hanging over his head won't help CHO in his immediate future. Hope it's cleared up quickly. Bad news for all involved.
Kids will be kids,rich or not......I'm not sure about him tbh.Wouldn't care if he went to Bayern(if they still want him).
He needs some extended game time to prove his worth. Sure got heaps of ability but hasn't absolutely nailed down a spot like Mount, Gilmore, James Tomori etc. To be fair he had a spotty season with injury, and played with a gun shy strike force in a development team, so I'll put him in my "should be a goodun next season" squad. This episode won't help him, he didn't get the girl around for a cuppa, and broke Club and country isolation rules anyway.
Nice to see CHO will not be facing rape charges from the Police . Hope this close call scared the bejeezus out of him, and he can now concentrate on becoming the player we all hope he can be.
A pretty toxic combination even for decent kids as this lad appears to be. Mightn't be a bad idea for the Club to provide regular talks by qualified people to advise the kids on investments, public responsibility etc. The discipline is there at training, just regular reminders about off the pitch behaviour might be all they need.
