It's one in and one out for Leonid Slutsky ahead of Saturday's trip to Barnsley.

Slutsky welcomes Fraizer Campbell back into contention after the striker missed last weekend's draw at Norwich City, but the Head Coach will be without David Meyler as the Irish international serves a one-match ban following his dismissal at Carrow Road.

Kevin Stewart will replace Meyler in midfield, while Campbell adds to Slutsky's striking options although he may have to settle for a place on the bench against Barnsley, as the Russian explains.

"Fraizer Campbell has come back and trained with the group this week. He can play, but he has missed three weeks since he last played.

"We have some good competition between our forwards. Dicko scored in our last match, we have Fraizer and we have Diomande. For really strong players, competition is always better."

Another player facing strong competition for a place in the team is Jackson Irvine, although he stated his case for inclusion with a two-goal performance for the Club's U23s at the start of the week.

"He missed two weeks with us when he was away with Australia but didn't play in any games, so playing for the U23s was important for him to get back into match tempo," Slutsky continued.

"He played at an unbelievable level and scored twice. He was very professional and a big leader - sometimes when a first team player is asked to play for the U23s, their motivation is lacking but that wasn't the case with Jackson and he was a leader in the team."

The Tigers remain without Evandro, Stephen Kingsley, Will Keane, Abel Hernandez, Ryan Mason and Moses Odubajo.

Barnsley have defender Angus MacDonald available again after illness but will be without Gary Gardner. Manager Paul Heckingbottom must also decide whether or not to risk defender Andy Yiadom and midfielder Lloyd Isgrove as they make their way back from injuries.

Will Abel still be here or will he be recuperating back in Uruguay?
