My opinion is he is experienced enough to know what to do and not do if selected. The older you get the more your body tells you what it can do. I am actually not a major fan of Evans personally, but we need a bit of a different voice on the pitch now as the last 7 games have been shocking really. And at least 2 games we have lost because of barmy decision making. If he thinks he is ready, and he will know, I would probably play him. I wouldnt him in a starting 11 next season though, personally.
Not as miserable as the physio must be getting these lads ready to start getting used to playing again only to see them back in the treatment room after being pushed too hard too soon.
Give over man, they're at work just like the rest of us ... .... soul destroying is seeing some of the endless pessimism on here.
It’s a risk worth taking imo, squeeze 60 minutes out if him, perhaps try and get 30 out of Dack, Aji I’d be tempted to leave out entirely due to his recent injury record.
give Tommy a game we have nowt to lose, i want to se a couple of 30 yarders from Jobe and Eqwah and Patterson up for every corner.
HWTL 0-1, had a dream last night Evans' first touch he tripped over the ball and done his knee again, mind he was playing for Man City so I wouldn't look too much into it.
Talking of dreams, I dreamt we were in the FA cup final at a small looking Wembley. The game hadn’t been going long when our striker got in a bmw, drove past the defence and rounded the goalkeeper and scored.
With Evans, Dack and Tommy Watson in the running we could have a much different team out today. It'll be intriguing to see who starts and finishes and it could be much more interesting than a run of the mill end of season game.
Woke up feeling optimistic not sure if it’s cos of the break, long weekend ahead or the Easter egg breakfast but a win today and we can enjoy what’s left of the season haaaaaaawayyyyyyyyy
I’ve missed the football with this 2 week break, so haway. Until we go 1-0 down, then football can **** off again.
6-0 HAWAYYYY Ballard 14 (bullet header, outside the box) Jobe 23, 65 (in off the shin, twice) Neil 40 (long range pass into the net) Hume 76 (banana shot from 45 yards, deflected in) Rigg 83 (the bigg rigg gets a head of steam and steams past 5 defenders to slot home from 10 yards)
I would really like to see him get a run out personally. The lad looks a talent to me, and physically looks strong.
