This is not our night! 3-0 We play neat and pretty football. We create chances. It is attractive and pleasing to the eye. But we need to work on our defence!!!!!
Cardiff efficient & ruthless Cardiff 3-0 QPR Michael Pearlman BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium No way back for QPR now. Cardiff have soaked up the pressure and have won the game with a fantastic strike from Callum Paterson who lashed the ball home right footed. It will be seven unbeaten for the rising Bluebirds.
For me we have been messing around too much. Earlier we were passing it around going sideways then pass it to Leinster who gives it away! For all our good work we don't know how to capitalize. Even then Kane takes the wrong shooting option. Oh well we need to play better against Blackburn.
Some of our players seem to be non-existent: what has happened to Hugill, BOS, Chair & Eze in the second half?
Sadly not only this game we can't seem to defend in. I don't believe we've kept a clean sheet all season have we?
Of course you can. If Barnet played Barcelona a million times they’d nick a win eventually. Massively frustrating but we’ve hit the post twice and looked threatening. It happens. Give me us on 16 points over Cardiff on 16 points any day.
What was Kelly doing there. I think Kelly has blown his big chance tonight. Not blaming him for the kids...but he could have done better on the first and is really not very commanding in his penalty area
I think we've been exposed as what we are... a mid table team, at best. We had a good bit of wind under our sails for a while, with some good tactical choices from Warburton. But we don't have the level of professionalism and discipline being displayed to us by the better teams in the division lately. This isn't even really meant as a criticism. Our team is not of high value on the transfer market, there's a lack of experience and the kind of discipline we're missing is the kind of discipline it takes a few seasons of consistent squad and manager to grind into the mentality of the team.
Better distribution, better with his feet though..And don't think Lumley would have stopped those 3 goals.
I don’t agree. We had 72% possession which kind of means we had three times more time on the ball in which to score. Lots of play sideways and back but insufficient threat and a dog5hit sandwich of a defence.
Little bit harsh. He's only just come into the starting lineup and the players around him have to a) get used to him and b) be disciplined enough themselves to listen to their keeper.
When we make errors going forward which with our way of playing, and with the lack of experience in the 3, we do a lot, we are very easy to counter. Not just the defenders who defend badly like the 2nd goal, but all of them, Hugill excepted.
