Ordered the smaller battery as we don’t need massive range, that got me below the level for the (now scrapped) £2500 Govt grant, then I specced it up, 21” rims, fancy automatic headlights and various assist things, heated seats etc.
like that and the polestar. Prefer the longer tlrange versions, but they add a few £. What’s it like to drive?
The ride is incredibly good given the size of the wheels and skinny tyres. The weight distribution on an EV is much better and this thing handles lovely for quite a big car. We seldom do long range and when we do another 50 miles range isn’t going to make much difference as we’ll still have to recharge, so I didn’t see any value, especially given the loss of the grant on top. I’ve had a charger fitted at home, so should be sound, albeit she can charge for free at work when she goes into the office.
Reading reviews it comes in at 2T! but said drive is brilliant. Guess tha due to low centre of gravity based on battery placed below floor. Looks best bet for a non Tesla
