Well likewise we have nothing to do with Bradford, Huddersfield, Calderdale or Wakey, but they're part of our Police force as North Lincs is part of Humberside Police Force. And yes, Yorkshire overall is better than West Yorkshire, but the point I'm making is that the biggest city in West Yorkshire and the biggest city in East Yorkshire are both tied in terms of their police force's crime stats. I doubt either city is much worse than the other for crime, therefore. I'll pull it off your board now you've requested it, but I was hoping for debate and yes, it was in good faith. I've already justified why I called Hull the UK's biggest scrounger city, and no matter how much you protest, it is by those figures. Even if there are some boundary incongruences, it's still sad to see what a state the city's in at the moment and I hope that this Siemens project can give the place a lift. It's sad to see Yorkshire associated with such poor statistics.
Thanks. I wouldn't have minded the debate, but you used terminology that was always likely to irritate and to was never likely to lead to a reasoned discussion.
Erm, and Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Hull, Bradford, Barcelona, Paris, Nice, Marseille, Milan, Turin, Rome, Hong Kong, Frankfurt... this is just off the top of my head btw. Nice try though. Leeds is Britain's 2nd financial centre, but once Hull get some jobs we'll be in trouble
YOU-WILL-BE KISKNOBHEAD said "anyone that thinks dewsbury is closer to Bradford than Leeds really needs to re-sit geography hahahahahah.............. I was taking the piss you idiot but clearly you didn't do geography cos its actually closer between Dewsbury and Huddersfield than it is Dewsbury to Leeds. You should change your user name to "YOU WILL BE A TERRIER"
You must have done something wrong in one of those places, to have been banished to Inverness. Where did you live in Hong Kong?
There's nothing wrong with Inverness!!!!! There's nothing for miles around but it's very pretty nothing. I'll have to come back later with the Hong Kong info, wasn't old enough to have any idea of where exactly I was living, we were only there for a few months while my parents sorted out jobs, then the Chinese got it back and told us we couldn't stay! Great place though. Changed a bit since I left mind!
It's my second home, I've been going several times a year for almost twenty four years and I used to spend about 20% of the year there, it's completely unrecognisable from the place I first went to in 1984.
