I used to have a clue but, honestly, **** knows now. I'm so off the radar. Usually some good tips on GC; Fabio and Mick O Toon etc.
Clan Des Obeaux will win the Gold Cup on Friday. Themistocles is my e/w shout for the Pertemps Final handicap hurdle on the Thursday There is a racing board on this forum btw. Some of the regulars really know their stuff.
Wouldn't be too much of an upset tbf - undefeated so far, and won at the Festival last year. Big ask taking on the boys for the first time in a race like this, but given the Trainer and jockey combo (Mullins/Walsh) a win wouldn't be too much of a surprise.
As Archers said some regulars on here who know their stuff... https://www.not606.com/forums/horse-racing.151/
I'm on the train travelling to Liverpool. Stopping overnight at my old man's and then we are off to Cheltenham, tomorrow. The blokes I'm going with really know their stuff and a couple have race horses. One of the lads is the same kid who give me BRIAC which won easily at 16/1 a couple months back. I'll report back what their strong fancies are. Paisley Park looks like a banker at the festival. It's only 6/4 but still it's 150% profit...
I'm going on Wednesday and Friday, didn't make it last year so looking forward to it. Haven't followed racing at all really for the last couple of years so will just have a look through the cards tonight and pick some out
**** sake, just had an invite for tomorrow with full hospitality, booze and food all day, the bloody lot. Can't go due to current circumstances though.
I've got the same deal on Wednesday, never been in the hospitality stuff at Cheltenham so looking forward to it
My mate I sometimes go racing with works in the betting industry and has loads of contacts, so he often blags us a hospitality deal; I genuinely prefer slumming it with the hoi-poloi though, especially at Cheltenham in March. That’s where the real craic is. And the best view of the racecourse - as good as any of the boxes - is from the top of the Best Mate stand, the cheapest place on the course.
I've gone Un De Sceaux but only for sentimentality really. Massively up for the week so far so today is a bit of a free hit really, which is good as most of the races are wide open. Could back 5 horses in this one, Monalee probably the stand out
