Its off to Fratton Park for a clash against the league leaders who are truly chiming this season while we are still trying to find our feet having played eight league games and another four in cup comps and this could be our stiffest test so far although we have a decent record against Pompey having played 10 times it's 3 wins 4 draws 3 defeats at Fratton Park it reads 2 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats. Gaz is without Stewart Tyson and captain AEA but now has Darius Charles available after coming through unscathed in midweek also match winner Scott Kashket got another 90 mins under his belt and is knocking on the door. I can't make this one which may be a blessing in disguise having watched us play 6 times this season and only seeing us win a penalty shoot out, so come on lads upset the apple cart and get a result
A draw would be a great result there but I fear a drubbing. I've given us a chance by including Portsmouth in an accumulator. However, there have been some strange/unexpected results so who knows. If we can get a couple of early goals, it could unsettle them (having come into the game thinking this would be a walk in the park). If they get a couple of early goals it could be disastrous. Good luck to the lads. Someone has to inflict Pompey's first defeat. COYB
Start Kashket and we'll have a chance, what more does he have to do ffs? Kashket,Williams and Paris would be a threat more so than The Beast and CMS imo.
Great atmosphere at pompeys ground been there loads of times enjoy your day out and bring back the 3 points
Here is the #Chairboys line-up in full then. Starting XI: Allsop, McCarthy, Jacobson, Jombati, Charles, Gape, Morris, Bloomfield, Onyedinma, Kashket, Akinfenwa. Subs: Ma-Kalambay, Harriman, Saunders, Thompson, Williams, Mackail-Smith, Cowan-Hall. #PORvWYC
We're playing well but the ref is giving out yellow cards to our players so we could be in danger of going down to 10 or even nine second half ffs
