I’m no I’m an outlier on this, but while I still like a traditional 3pm on a Saturday I’m actually growing to like mid week evening games I’ve alway got plenty of other things to do on a weekend, but at least on a Monday it gives you something to look forward to at work (I accept the lack of players will probably might make that tricky at any time mind you!)
As opposed to people who act bizarrely smug when the Allams' continually rape the club, as if it is all worth it just to act a **** on this forum.
Always good when the Mrs birthday falls on a home game , saves me spending ages thinking where to take her.
****ing hell Bucko, you're looking as far ahead as the run in? What about the start? Villa, last seasons beaten play off finalists. Wednesday, The Biggest Club In The Planet Hullsborough. Blackburn Rovers, promoted last season. Rotherham United, promoted as Play Off winners. Stoke City, one of pre season favourties. Derby County, play off semi finalists. Ipswich Town, early 6 pointer. Wigan Athletic, promoted as Champions last season. Reading, another early 6 pointer. Middlesbrough, one of pre season favourites. 'Home' advantage is negligible, it's likely that all but Ipswich will bring decent followings to the morgue. No new players so far with a cloud over at least 2 of the 'better' ones (Bowen and Grosicki). Pre season training starting in a few days and the manager's wish list far and away from complete. This pre season is already unfolding like the last 2. Silva warned against it and the consequences of it happening, Adkins has been murmuring about it and (was) expecting it to be different this time. Something startling must happen in the next few days, for us to be in with a chance of having enough points by Xmas, never mind Easter or the run in. ALLAMS OUT !!!
Agreed AL... though having said that, the first 5 games against anyone would be tough with what we haven't got!!
14 wins and a few draws. That’s what we need to survive. Go on, circle 14 wins on that fixture list with confidence.
That's shabby SCB. He fancies himself as a natural number 10. I'd have the fat **** in goal, he wouldnt need to move far to stop owt.
He fancies himself on the sidelines to make a quick dash to the gubbins spread after the game. He’ll have downed all the pork pies before we get a look in.
Greegsyesque falling to the floor from the Croat goalie too. Class, beautiful and class. **** you Argentina.
