Anyone had a listen? It's well worth it. Meyler is so blunt about most things, he actually gives a great insight you wouldn't normally get from the squad.
Yeah I do. Only having a listen now, but **** it's a fantastic listen. Talks in-depth about the FA Cup final as well which is brilliant.
What and stop endless hours of piss taking and derision dead in its tracks? I think not. I didn't listen to it all, just about 50% of it. I like to do a half-caste when the opportunity allows.
Sorry haha, the official one, through Tigers TV, not my one! Though I have just reached out to chat to him. On a personal note, I have Irish heritage (my Dad was born in Dublin), so I would be over the moon to chat to him, but the one I've listened to is the official one.
Oh I know what that means, just wasn't sure what you meant..! Surprised the title hasn't been edited by now.
All you ****ing non English English speakers happen to have Irish heritage and wear it with more pride than a bastarding Victoria cross. ****s.
Not in the habit of listening to these podcasts, it really is an awful shame, but I now get irritated by Steve Jordan's continuing to call us Tigers, hardly a mention of our real name. It's the same now watching the game on the clubs website, this bloody commentator hardly every mentions Hull City, it Tiger this, tiger that, really pisses me off. Anyhow, I did listen to David Meyler's podcast, and really found it interesting, as usual straight to the point.
Here is the link. Really enjoyed listening to this. His memories of when he first came here etc. Talks of the passion the supporters had. Think we are missing that passion now, the off the pitch stuff has got in the way and he does see that. Got a lot to say about the team we had and that moment in the FA cup semi final when Curtis was Captain. How we miss someone like him now. Always liked Myeler and now even more since listening to this, really nice bloke. Also good to hear Windass's contributions to the discussion. He actually was good to listen to. Quite a long section so if you have a bit of time well worth listening.
Just listened to this last night. Can't believe that Brucey used the training ground as a selling point when convincing Meyler to come here. Maybe once he's finished with Villa he could go into writing sales patter for an estate agents.
