But that would be 30 million every year for three or four years, on top of our current wage bill? They won't take that risk. We will see what happens to these clubs.
There's nine players out of contract (or returning loans) and there's Bowen, Grosicki and Henriksen we expect will be sold.
They're not going to take any risk, we'll be operating on a shoe-string, I was just pointing out that FFP isn't an issue for us, an owner could keep the current squad together if they were so inclined, FFP isn't forcing us to get rid.
If they're going to offer £15m, it's because they expect to pay £20m. Though it's only Talksport, so it's not necessarily true.
If (and its a ****ing big IF) the Allams intend to leave, they may sell Bowen et al., for a smaller fee than they are worth, but with most of it up front, so they get it all before they go.
I wasn't sure whether he would be still with us. There is still some talk of Keane maybe being offered a new contract, but I think we will have to wait and see on that one.
We've watched Sammie Szmodics at Colchester a few times this season, he's a had a great run at Colchester, decent attacking midfielder. I don't mind the approach of signing the best players from lower leagues, it's better than getting Championship cast offs.
Again it will depend on what if anything is given to our manager next season .. the majority of any sales will go into the Allams coffers .. i suspect yet again whomever leads us into next season will have to deal in cast offs .. bargain basement and loans .. the Allams dont give a sh1t about the footballing matters or the fans .. they just see pounds signs.
