I actually haven't tried anything yet Peter, soaking up everyone's feedback before I plunge. One thing is for certain, which I'm sure I've mentioned many a time - the City organization are pathetic implementers of software. They seem to never test anything before releasing into the customer domain -an IT basic rule - alpha tests, beta tests, feedback, upgrade & final QC tests before release - especially when financial transactions are involved. I doubt they even do alpha ? Cheap bastards.
This is getting more & more bizarre - I finally got an e-mail late yesterday. Several packages available - video/audio options (2 + 1) - annual, or monthly & a per match option . 2 options for audio commentary - annual & monthly. Just checked that e-mail again a couple of minutes ago. The link to register has bloody well changed ! No audio only options !!!! ****ing mind bogglingly incompetent. Note: This is when my IP address is a Canadian one. If have yet to check it via VPN route, but logically that should be even more restictive if it thinks I'm not & International customer !
In a related subject my laptop is getting fairly adamant that it needs to restart, Microsoft is stopping support of Windows 10 and it wants to update to something else, has anyone done this and is it glitch free? Seem to remember Windows 10 didn't start to well.
The Safari browser on my MacBook Air had no problem. Just put in TigersTV. It will open as hullcitytigers.com and say "This page could not be found". But click the IFollow link at the top, and then "Subscribe". You will be given the options for "Season" or "Monthly" or "Single Match" pass. Choose which one you want.
Thanks CT. I finally blundered through the Hampton Court Maze, after switching to my VPN, which recognises me as being in the UK and it worked ! I'm now registered for audio commentary only, as a gang of mates come round to watch PL matches on my 2 TV screens & 2 computer monitors. City's game (audio) is on another PC stream at the loudest speaker setting ! It'll be interesting just before K.O. time tomorrow to see how stable this new iFollow installation is (for City at least - it's been up and running for many other teams for a couple of season now I guess). Edit: We may be honoured if I can get hold of him, an ex Leeds United pro to watch the late game against Liverpool. Arch enemies in the past. Should be fun. He's a great lad, always keeps his eye on Hull City's fortunes. Not sure what the COVID crowd gathering rules are currently in Toronto - so may be a very (sensible) low attendance at the start of the season.
I prefer a Windows 10 desktop. I only use my phone when I have to. My wife prefers to use her tablet, her next preference is her phone and then Windows desktop. She doesn't like her Windows desktop because it is old and slow but says it's not worth buying a new one because she hardly ever uses it. Chicken and egg!
Title: City's website looks different. It does. And, tbf, it looks ok - nice clean look to it. BUT the address is still hullcitytigers!!
