You may have thought this a public service announcement, one that was pointless as you are well aware that they went forward. It's not. It's a rant against whoever is responsible for the fact that I went to bed last night and got an hour less sleep. Could they go forward at midday today and we will all work an hour less? Or even Saturday at least we would be able to stay in bed on Sunday morning. ****ing joke! Some ****er needs sorting for this.
You realise they went forward Saturday night Sunday morning so last night you got no less sleep Unless in Wales you like to be different and do it a day later.
You do realise this was a deliberate ploy on our part to deny the mothers of the land that lie in they so crave on the hallmark mother's day. I had to make breakfast in bed, buy flowers and get kids to do cards etc etc etc. This took away form my ability to watch F1 properly so....
Feel like we just need to make sure this thread is kept near the top for a bit and not left to sink so everyone can have their own laugh at Luvs stupidity Maybe someone could post link on the PL forum so his friends from there can all come and leave their comments
Clocks went forwards weeks ago! http://www.vox.com/platform/amp/sci...aylight-saving-time-2017-start-spring-forward Honestly. I think they should do away with daylight saving time. It kills people, causes confusion, and I've seen at least one study that shows that the suggested energy savings is backwards it hurts more than helps. What would help more is consistency. Daylight saving is a stupid idea.
Despite the idiotic post from luv, only good thing is suggesting moving it to like midday today so once less hour at work. Would certainly boost energy. Although be a killer when they go back and you have to spend an extra hour at work
What really is crazy is at a lot of hospitals that use EHR from one specific vendor I won't name. That vendir uses the local clock instead of universal time. That means when the clocks go back they can't use any of their electronic systems for an hour, everyone has to do everything on paper and then add it to the computer once time has caught up to the time change. It's stupid and down to bad software design but I know hundreds of hospitals in the US and UK use their software.
