Argentottenham? Are we bringing Ossie back?
Is our third kit going to be a knockoff of Brazil's to avoid upsetting ours?

Away kits aren't the issue, by and large

Third kit, on the other hand...

No, seriously, why do we seem to never use our away kit?

There are some interesting match reports from Postecoglou's time in Japan vs Vissel Kobe.
He had a difficult first season with Yokohama F. Marinos and turned it around by beating them.
They won the league the following season.

Donley's goal against Utd's U21s is a lovely finish, but it's got to be van de Ven, hasn't it?
Very funny watching Utd's keeper wipe out Santiago, fall over his prone body, then claim a foul! <laugh>

Werner and Davies expected to miss the rest of the season.

I think I’d go with van de Ven LB and Dragusin in at CB. Although I fear it could be Emerson at LB.

Just realised I put this in club watch not physio thread, my brains not functioning today… when does it ever, lol.

We don't have match thread yet so here is reasonable.

Could Dragusin play LB? Has he always been a CB?

He’s right footed so I’d be a bit cautious of it to be honest. I think he played RB a few times for Genoa, sure I read on Transfermarkt that he played a handful there.

Just noticed that the club has opened voting on our Player of the Season! <laugh>
That's definitely not going to get any toxic reactions right now. Honest!

I’m not actually sure who to vote for to be honest too.

There are a few players who had really good spells but I don’t think anyone has had a consistently strong season. Porro was initially my shout up to about Jan/ Feb but his form, like everyone, has dipped.

Bit different from knowing one of Kane or Son were guaranteed it anyway.

Dante Cassanova or Pele McDermott. Don't ask what my criteria are...

Porro would have been my shout earlier in the season but like you say he’s dropped off. Romero would be my call, or Vic. Hard to pick right now in this slump though.

Vicario’s dropped off a bit in recent months in my opinion, not just because of the set piece issues either. He was pulling off world class saves in the first half of the season and also really vocally controlling the back line, can’t really say I remember him putting in an outstanding performance in the second half of the campaign.

Romero’s shown a lot of fight and chipped in with some goals but defensively he’s been left wanting a fair bit.

It really is such a tough and close call because there isn’t a standout. Let’s just give it to Donley for the season he’s had in the 23s.

    Agreed.

He's been the player I've most enjoyed watching, Newcastle match aside.

    Very unique defender.

Also bailed out our midfield a lot

Until his hamstrings gave up the ghost in recent weeks
