Couldn't we say the Season Killer Cup match is a social gathering with more than six people turning up?
If so, that fixture will be moved to the 30th. I cannot recall in living memory any time where a top-flight English club had to play two games on consecutive days. Even in the fixture nightmare that was the 1981-82 season, there were a good 2-3 games between fixtures (catch-up or otherwise) .
Squad numbers are in 1 Hugo Lloris 2 Matt Doherty 4 Toby Alderweireld 5 Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 6 Davinson Sanchez 7 Heung-Min Son 8 Harry Winks 10 Harry Kane 11 Erik Lamela 12 Joe Hart 15 Eric Dier 17 Moussa Sissoko 18 Giovani Lo Celso 19 Ryan Sessegnon 20 Dele Alli 21 Juan Foyth 22 Paulo Gazzaniga 23 Steven Bergwijn 24 Serge Aurier 25 Japhet Tanganga 27 Lucas Moura 28 Tanguy Ndombele 30 Gedson Fernandes 33 Ben Davies 40 Brandon Austin 41 Alfie Whiteman 47 Jack Clarke 48 Harvey White 49 Dennis Cirkin
And his number isn't even being used! Tanganga's changed his though, I see. Hojbjerg takes Vertonghen's, Hart takes the vacant 12 and Vorm's 13 is unused.
Interesting that the number 9 isn't being used Not so interesting when you realise Milik prefers the 99 shirt at Napoli, though...

Good to know there's yet another reason to treat the Season Killer Cup as an U23/U18 exercise: winning the thing doesn't even get a Europa League place
Last seven seasons finalists would suggest it doesn't kill teams seasons. Nice get out if you are not good enough to compete in it though Have you any idea what football is all about? It's not about earning a few extra quid by qualifying for the CL/EL, it's about competing and winning things. Do you really think players want to finish their career and be able to tell their grandchildren "i got in the top 4 3 years on the trot" or would they rather be able to show them a medal and say "this is for winning a cup".
Let's look at the finalists for those last seven seasons, shall we? 2019-20: a team who finished a mere 17 points off the title beat a team who avoided relegation by a point 2018-19: a team who scraped to the title beat a team whose title challenge was over by January 2017-18: a team who cruised to the title beat a team who finished a very distant 6th 2016-17: a team who finished 6th under a manager their fans say killed the club beat a team who finished 8th 2015-16: a team who finished 4th in spite having The World's Bestest Manager Ever beat a team who finished 6th in spite having The World's Bestest Manager Ever 2014-15: a team who strolled to the title beat a team who finished 5th...whose board you insist on posting ****e on 2013-14: a team who edged the title beat the team who finished 14th Maybe you should look things up before you post, eh? It saves you the embarrassment of me having to explain to you just how much ****e you're talking
