So we're deffo in it... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48504200 Qatar in December is not going to help our season and regardless of our season over a thousand people have already died for this place to create football stadiums. Should we go at all? I've already decided that I won't watch the World Cup in Qatar in a small protest over the lies and backhanders that have happened to award them the WC aswell as the human rights violations it would be hypocritical for me to watch Liverpool in this cup. If global audiences turn off it will make a difference a small sacrifice and an easy one that does actually make a difference.
the political and moral issues are for each person. the reality of the tournament is you fly in for a week's warm weather training. you play a warm up agaisnt some minnow, brining kids to do so... and then you play a South American team in final if your kids in the semi... Then you fly home. this is no big deal and no more disruptive than the super cup
i get the principal for not wanting to watch. but why do city fans go to etihad every week etc when they have owners who abuse human rights. money talks now days sadly
It's an easy protest though, just don't watch it and you may make a difference. Not many have time to be militant and make banners and march about the place but for the simple action of not turning the TV into a certain channel you could make a difference.
yeah i get that, but unless you are actually at the game, which most cant be, how do you watch the team you love play? its a similar argument for watching sky in a way, but a lot still do.
I never watch man utd (except when they play us) so for me it's easy. Also, I don't have Sky so if it's only on that the decision's already made for me.
All our games are eventually shown on LFCTV, for which I have a subscription, so I can go there and watch the 2 minute highlights, the 15 minute highlights or the whole game
I wouldn't stop watching Liverpool if we got bought out by Kim Jong Un. I wouldn't be happy about the ownership but I wouldn't cut my nose off.
How long after game are they available? Since Reddit got rid of soccer streams it's hard for me to watch any games now. I'd pay for LFCTV if it meant access to watch games in a reasonable time. (I'd just stay off the forum until I could watch the game)
