I´ve always thought ticket allocation was unfair/hard to understand. & as for paying 190 odd quid for a ticket, dearie me. Do you get a free gun pointed at your head with that or do you have to pay extra ? TV for me.
That doesnt mean anything. Its basically the Charity shield rebranded All it means by community is the money made doesnt line the clubs pockets. Not the tickets go to the community
The community that made Wembley possible is rewarded. As OLM said above, those that put their hands in their pockets get given a priority for doing so. That's the clue.
Its been going on longer then the new Wembley Its about making money for the community nothing else. Not rewarding people for putting money into Wembley
Club Wembley are rewarded for putting their hands in their pockets. That is one of the communities that benefits from the match.
I'm saying that without them, there wouldn't be the Wembley we have now. You can't charge people a fortune for debenture seats, to raise the money to build the stadium, then not let them use them.
Is anyone driving down for this? If so where are you parking. Im not feeling great about fighting through London so was going to park at Watford Junction and train to Wembley Central
When I last went to Wembley I parked at Cockfosters and got the train into Kings Cross, dossed about for a bit and then got the tube to Wembley.
If you'd bought my seats, you'd have been able to park at the ground, missed out there. I did manage to flog them by the way. Actually, thinking about it, I flogged the tickets but I've still got the parking pass. Anyone want it?
What's parking at the ground like? Is it easy to get away? I suppose if you're in the posh seats you get some sort of post match entertainment/meal so you're not caught in the mad rush.
It's on South Way, just a few hundred yards from the stadium and they shut the road to allow you out, so it's normally really easy (though you can get stuck getting onto the North Circular if it's busy at IKEA).
I'm getting the train but normally we would park at Stanmore (the last stop) and park there then get the tube in. Quick tip for anyone: Rather than ever getting a ticket to the exact place in London, pay for a ticket as cheap as possible to get you into London then use your contactless to move around as it caps it at a day travel card. Of course this only works if you are moving around in london
