Wasn´t it Xmas we blitzed it? Or when was that run of four wins in a row....must remember to remember things better....
This is fascinating, NZ. Shows, so far, that the only result worse than last year's was Chelsea, and, if the football gods had been paying attention, we would've had a point there.
We are 3rd in the table for points gained compared to last season. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CveFX3UXgAAWL8s.jpg
If we can match last season results for the next 15 games (not easy) that will put us on 40 pts. Safe with 11 games to go
On the other hand, we are currently on a statistical par with our first season in the top flight, 1982/83. I'd be happy if we managed to emulate our finishing spot for that season...
To be fair that team had the likes of Simmo Steve Terry , Kenny Cally Banes Ross and lets not forget 27 goals from Luther and im sure you will remeber a Mr Bolton plus the JUDGE as back up
I think that what is far more telling is that, by your reckoning, we have 9 points more this season than in the corresponding fixtures last season.
By the end of jan IF we can match last years results, that will put us on 30 points with 15 games left BUT its a big if the way we have been playng
