We've lost one our best and replaced him with MoEl, brought in a wait-and-see midfielder in Stuart A so I dont see that we are much better off ATM. If I look at the business I feel we need to get done its a quick young RB, experienced CB, a quality striker ala Paco Alcacer and another wide forward. That's a big ask and if we got that done I'd be stoked.

 

Nick Jesus Vallejo off Real Madrid for our CB for good measure.

I saw the Man City game where he was MOTM and was somewhat impressed. Enough so I bought him in Football Manger but I wasn’t into that save and ditched it after 2/3 rd of a season.

These are my impressions of a fake computer character and one mostly meaningless game.

He actually reminds me a bit of Shaqiri. Or like a more winger-y Davis. Or Tadic.

He’s fast but not crazy, Mane level of fast. Kind of average winger speed. He’s a physical player. Not that he’ll be moving CB’S around but he uses his body well and likes a bit of contact. He can dribble, but he’s not a technical trickster. Keeps possession by having good control with both feet, intelligent movement, and a general sort of stubborness. Not an ankle breaker but can get people off balance and then poke it past them. Sort of like Lallana was at times. Goes into a crowd, you see limbs flying around, somehow he emerges on the other side with the ball, just barely. Plays decent defense for an attacking player and does not mind tackling. Tenacious type of player.

Not the greatest passer in terms of wild creativity or touch, but keeps his head up and is always looking for the pass and can unload quickly. A good 1-2 kind of passer.

I was thinking he would be a very good fit in a high press system. Which I implemented. But he was a little disappointing. Although tbf, I grew bored of the game and was a huge jerk and everyone hated me so did not get the best of most of that team.

That is a comprehensive scouting report from a guy who really knows his stuff and is very familiar with the player. I can almost even spell his name.

After reading this he only stays 2 years wherever he goes, so 2 years and sell on then.
