I think the economy is already damaged beyond repair. I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if the hospitality industry goes back to normal just because they stop the lockdown.

As someone who can work from home, I'd not be going back to normal anytime soon.

The government would be playing a dangerous game. If they lift the lockdown and the body count rises drastically, they would never survive the fallout.

There's something that really grates on me with situations like this.

Nicola Sturgeon has been explaining, on BBC Breakfast, that Calderwood 'made a mistake' ...

    ... no she ****ing didn't.

Making a mistake is is doing something you didn't mean to do, usually on the spur of the moment.

This self entitled bitch has decided she's better than everyone else, planned her trips, packed the car and happily driven past all the little people holed up in their first and only home.

'I made a mistake' is the 'Grealish defence' ...

... pretending you didnt really understand what you were doing.

Understandable in a thick football player, this woman has absolutely no excuse.

Yeah a bit like this bloke on Facebook
: I’ve done nowt wrong and I’ll go on my daily run what ever the government say :
    He is allowed
However while out cycling later in the day he observed groups of people breaching the lockdown.
Nevertheless One form of daily exercise only
    He’s out all day long

Bang on. She blatantly disregarded the medical advice and did so twice and she's the Chief Medical Officer ffs. She has a responsibility to follow the guidelines and set a good example, not **** off to the country for the weekend. No way would the 'stay at home' message have any credibility if she stayed in her position yet the only reason she's gone is because of the backlash, not because she realised her actions are completely bang out of order under the current circumstances. Unbelievable Jeff.

Saw someone over the road describe it as worrying and couldn't work out why. Iif I did encounter a tiger, I wouldn't be worrying if it had corona virus, I'd be worrying if it was thinking I was it's breakfast.

It’s arrogant twats like this , who are also that arrogant that they publicly brag about it , who need apprehending - and why not use electronic tags to prevent them going out altogether , The prospect of being tagged into the house may stop some .

This is from the Guardian Live updates, shows some medical workers in Beijing enjoying a walk. Go from the lad at the centre and go to the lass second on his right, so your left. Is it just me or does she only have one leg? Definately looks like she's missing her left leg, isn't even a shadow for it.

One of the worrying things is that the authorities are saying that you can't catch it from pets. The RSPCA over here are already having pets abandoned because their owners are scared of catching it from them.

Enlarge and look at shoe heels . What you can see is left leg , which is covering all of right leg except right heel. How did you spot this in the first place !

That's still no excuse for not wearing a tie and assuming his leadership role on a podium, though . . . . to some :emoticon-0112-wonde
