I’m hearing of mobile hairdressers visiting homes, fly tipping has rocketed here, crime is up. The longer genuine business has to abide by strict regimes or lockdown the more the unscrupulous will benefit

Afternoon all - those lazy beggars have just copied and pasted the Irish model and changed the dates. Probably claiming it took a month of late night meetings and debates to thrash it out too.

Allow outdoor meetings between people from different households

You just know there will be thousands of outdoor party's and barbecues leading to a spike in cases!!

Yes I missed his post, I read it as the plan was sent out to all governments for consideration. The Irish are going to follow it to the exact, Scotland and England seem like they’re going to deviate from it, could be wrong we’ll find out Sunday I guess

If you have twitter follow a professor called Karol Sikora

There is no international standardised method for recording Coronavirus fatalities. Italy's stats agency said their death toll will be much higher than reported. Headlines stating the UK has the 2nd highest death toll are misleading - nobody knows. Comparisons need to wait.

Some guy has started collecting the Excess Mortality rate figures...

That doesn't make it look any better! <laugh>

It's the second wave that worries me. We'll be staying in lockdown during the relaxation, just to be on the safe(r) side. Tbh, it's not much different to our normal lifestyle! :D Buggers up the holidays though. :(

Also... Just found out Spain are only reporting deaths in hospitals, no care homes and you’ve got to remember country density, we’re far more densely populated than Italy and Spain

Italy will be off the scale when the data is collected, China are covering up their figures as is Russia, Spain are not counting care home deaths, we’re not in a great position but certainly not the highest

A friend just sent me a video showing thousands of pigs tipped live into a massive pit and set on fire, it says it's China where hundreds of thousands of pigs have caught the virus off humans, he said watch it quick before it's pulled. If right it spreads between Humans and Animals and I can't see how we can stop it.

I have 4 friends who are Police officers, 3 I'm in regular contact with, crime other than domestic abuse and nuisance crime are down, bugalries and car crime by over 40%, they are having more calls than ever though, with the vast majority being people reporting neighbours for not social distanting. Mobile hairdressers are being caught more than any other profession, one mate charged/ gave warning to 6 of them in one day alone.
