Quite true - the fact we have to rely on Troy maybe sums things up. Legend for us but you'd expect him to have some strong competition by now in the top flight rather than relying on wingers to play up front in his place.
Yes we have not been successful literally with our other forwards for a while now..... plus he really adds something to the team when he plays.... I cant see us staying up actually if we dont have him......
Sad really.. But the power of money wins through here... Good for him to make his point.. And if course if things go pear shaped he will be proven right
Sadly he still seems to be getting online abuse .. Then they wonder why footballers don't give an opinion or interact with fans. And give bland , run of the mill quote filled interviews. Yes they get paid a lot and are well looked after but they are still allowed a human point of view ? It's not their fault the NHS staff might be poorly paid or other key workers.
Two Fulham players are among three individuals who have tested positive for coronavirus in the latest round of testing for Championship clubs.
June 17th start - with the 2 outstanding games to be played first: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/05/28/exclusive-premier-league-restart-june-17/
I suppose that could happen at any time? They won't wait forever in reality. Hopefully they have plans in place if the worse happens.
Currently a high risk really... And this is a contact sport where each club comprising s large number of individuals will be meeting another every few days.. So the potential for spreading is very high.. ... And can we be 100% safe this age group of alpha males will be taking the care needed.. ... And remembering this is a killer to some. I know it sounds negative but I think really it ud just about the money...
'Interesting' to hear tv presenters bigging up the return to playing... It is as if there is complete discarding of the risk and a complete trust in the guidelines. I do hope I am wrong but...
I can just imagine the howls of protest if this happens - especially from Villa if they lose their catch-up match because of it. https://www.skysports.com/football/...-they-test-positive-for-coronavirus-this-week
