All the best to you and your families, men.
The Delta strain lockdown has now been extended for the week as cases start to mount, predominately in Sydney.

The biggest fear l have now, unlike other strains, is that the Delta strain supposedly affects children.

After my daughter spent time last year, locked away in a COVID ward, the thought of having a child treated the same way ( without any family around for support ) ….. is a real concern.

How do you explain to a young child that mummy or daddy can’t be with them ? They will be freaking out, for sure.

My advice is get yourself down to to the Rs, if you've been double jabbed and so has every one else. There's no problem?

I will say though 9’s…at the moment we do seem to be getting a fair few people who have tested positive for COVID and ill , even after 2 jabs.

The jabs should stop you getting seriously ill, hopefully, but no guarantee you won’t get it, even with no symptoms, and pass it on to someone else. Don’t really want to add to Stainsey’s workload.

    Probably find out tomorrow.

To be honest mate, they are nice easy jobs and we have an algorithm to work to……I don’t mind really. The pain is wiping down the truck afterwards….I never realised there were so many places to catch your fingers on when wiping down an ambulance :)

I feel conned by this double jab malarkey. If you've been double jabbed and I've been doubled jabbed then we're all good right?

I have a good friend who went into Kingston Hospital with Covid, he is now on the Covid ward with pneumonia. He had no resistance to infection though. He shielded for eighteen months and then fell ill. The covid ward in this hospital was empty in November. I know the bed manager there.
( She has another title, but I can't remember what it is. )

It's a difficult one to navigate mate. Personally I'm thinking of ****ing off QPR and finding an Island where all of this covid bollacks and pc **** doesn't matter. All I need is shelter, food and warmth. I think I've found the answer.

It’s odd what it does to your brain. I’m pretty knackered myself, heavy weekend, bit of stress (easily manageable, not real stress) around, all round tired. I felt like I was coming down with a cold last night and of course that immediately translated into ‘COVID’ in my head.

Feel absolutely fine after a good nights sleep though.

Funny you say that ‘cos me and my crewmate were saying the exact same thing….nowadays anyone gets a slight headache, temperature, feels fatigued etc…straight away we think COVID.
We seem to forget…infections, coughs and colds haven’t now gone away…

Boys PCR has come back negative. His work wants him to take a lateral flow test tonight before he returns to make sure. No one in the house has any symptoms.

Looks like I’m on for the Millwall match. This stuff puts a bit of a crimp on your week though.

Hope you get similar news Bob.
