I'm taking no chances, getting in before Gaffer. Will wait until after Hull before making my prediction. No **** It.... Coventry 1-3 Town
Hide behind the sofa time. Need to get the 1st goal - if we fall behind, players and fans will get very anxious
1-1 draw vs Coventry. Final day you’re winning 1-0 there are two minutes of injury time left, Leeds final whistle has just blown, we win 2-0. Huddersfield win a corner, your keeper comes out, flaps and misses the ball, Huddersfield score and snatch a late draw, Leeds are promoted. Then I woke up
Can’t see a change of formation. This was always the issue when we sold Leigh as no cover for Leif. Mu guess would be Clarke would play at LB with Axel staying at RB
2-2 draw. I’d be concerned if we’re without Davis - as Royston says, he’s the one player in the team where we don’t have a strong, readymade replacement. I’d also back Clarke to play there. We did use Humphreys there earlier in the season, but he didn’t look comfortable.
While we all accept that several players wont make the Prem grade, I would love to see this wonderful group of players and staff all having a real crack at competing at the highest level of English football. The joy and excitement they have brought us over the last two seasons I am sure merits that. We dont need wholesale changes, a few additions and lets see how they get on after a proper Summer holiday. Oh, I am presuming they do go up. Of course I am, but I will be glad to get to 8pm tomorrow.
I’ll be even glader to get to 10pm (providing we win) don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous before a game
I'm afraid that I have slightly different opinion on next season if we did go up, we would need a minimum of 5 to come in, that would be guaranteed starters. Sadly there is no room for sentiment, if you want to succeed you have to be a little ruthless. I don't call 5 wholesale changes anyway, I call what forest done, wholesale changes, I think it was about 20!!
If we grab a few bargains then get some numbers in. But we can’t be spending £10m + on more than a few.
