1 more point. Absolutely drained after that. Watching with my nephew and we were kicking and heading every ball

One of the toughest games to watch and the defense was massive tonight. Burgess immense.

So proud, totally knackered, let the whole team and Suffolk boys and girls all over the world celebrate and enjoy the night.

Congratulations to your team, I hate to admit it’s deserved. Everyone else bottled it at the end. I don’t even think you’ll need to beat Huddersfield as we will not beat Southampton how we’re playing.

Nice that you’ll be ending with a home game, hopefully we’ll see you again next season.

Depends which Southampton turns up ... they were a shambles defensively against us ... and you too have speedy wide players, which were very much their undoing ...

Great night but it's not over yet. All indications are we'll do it but it's a funny old game especially this time of the season

While we played well at times and had to dig in with great character and defensive qualities, I would be very surprised if we werent up to playing with more freedom and flowing attacking style in front of a full crowd at home.

    We will finish the job!

This was always going to be a tough win but that’s what the boys did last night. I’m so fcking proud of every single one of them <ok> especially Burgess who is one of our unsung heroes this season. I’m not counting my chickens we still have to perform on Saturday against Huddersfield but that last night was huge! And now onto our most important game in 24 years!!

I am especially pleased for all you guys on here. We have seen the highs and real lows of our Club. And what nice comments from other fans on here, we appreciate that and on their own forums too.

    What stood out for me?
The awful anxious wait we all had before a ball was kicked.
Half the away stand was empty, attempt to nullify our riproaring support?
How swiftly we started, great pace, direct, aggressive style, the oppo looked dazed, and Moore's fine goal, and the sublime pass back that led to it.
Our foot off the pedal after 20 mins, lost control & allowing them to come thru the middle and out wide with several close encounters. We must learn from that, dont idley sit back wen up a goal.
But for Hladky's worldly save we might have really given the game to them.
Our bounce back and mental strength for responding well after they levelled.
We were worried at half time, on my 3rd brandy!
Came out and confidently back in our stride.
The courage of Burns & Davis to soldier on, following 2 injuries and more cramps.
Our defense stood up magnificently and for once were totally resilient.
    Burgess and Fridge both immense.
Tuanzebe grows better every game. A nuclear sub wouldnt get past him!
Hutch teezed and taunted and linked up well with Jezza wen he came on. Must sign up Hutch. Jezza and subs made an impact and we took back control.
Glimpses of Broadie & Hirst at their best, both need time away on the beach and perhaps a baby sitter!
The ref was so nervous he changed his shirt & filled his pants, and retired. New ref chickened out from giving us a clear pen. Leicester would have been given that. Whats the pens given ratio now, 4 to 14?!
KM's humbleness in victory, dazed and just let himself take it all in. How lucky we are to have him.
Both he & Davis will now stay.
Tearful Ashton, showing he is human and must be so proud.
Our magnificent away support singing from the rooftops.

I hope some of you are going up Suffolk Saturday. I will be in your back pocket.

    Another memorable night. Phew!

Great post Gaffer <applause> perfectly sums up the game and the emotions from last night. It was a bloody tough watch on tv that’s for sure! When they equalised I thought here we bloody go again! But the boys did go again and dug out the winner and the result. The job isn’t done yet but it’s safe to say that we now have one foot planted in the Premier League

Yeah, just finished watching a while ago. It's something I've got used to recently but I still don't like it. Will have to look at the VPN route to be able to enjoy it live with you all. I miss posting in real time about the game.
