Wishful thinking on my part. We played well on Saturday against a better team. Tempted to twist, and go 2 up front.
Maatsen for DJ I suppose. We should beat Crewe, but will need more variety to win our other games. Hopefully we'll start a bit better than we have done recently. Another loss and we'll have TC back, regardless of Millwall's form, so it's a must-win game.
Looking forward to this one as much as you can as a Charlton fan, but I doubt it will be easy. But we need a win to get back on track after saturday.
We have to fill our boots tonight. Another Plymouth. A win is essential of course; No.1 objective. But we should also be pumping up our GD, especially compared to Oxford. If Oxford win both their remaining games and we win 2, draw 2, both teams will finish the season on 74 points I believe. We must end up with a better GD than them. And of course goals help confidence
I am helping my son move to Southampton today so even with a midweek game I will at best catch the second half. Hoping I return to find a winning position
Crewe have won 16 and lost 16, and have a GD of -7. So when they lose, they tend to lose by wider margins than when they win. So I'm going for a gung-ho 4-0 tonight Up the Addicks!
No way ..this league is so unpredictable I wouldn’t be surprised if we won our last 4 or lost them and same goes for Pompey Blackpool and Oxford
3 points will do me fine. Depends on how we start, and how Crewe start. The 6-0 was just one of those rare nights when everything came off for us.
As has been said here, and Curbs keeps saying, we need to score early. Just to settle the nerves a little.
