Boiling a kettle whilst in the bath is very dangerous and fookin stupid.

 

Mate why are you persisting with this ridiculous objection you made when I said driving is still dangerous even if you took away the idiots?

It is only dangerous if you can't drive, which would make you an idiot to be on the road, and therefore not all idiots would have been removed.

You seem to believe human error isn't possible if you're a good driver and that freak accidents don't occur.

It's quite simply just a very dangerous activity.

 

Freak accidents are extremely rare. They virtually never happen. That is why they are called freak accidents.

The comment you made, which I responded to, was whether roads would be safe if all idiots were removed. In that scenario then any collision would almost certainly not be an accident and would be down to a mistake that someone had made through bad driving.

Driving is a very dangerous activity whether you think you're the best and most sensible person in the world you can be killed through no fault of your own, so it's hardly as you claim safe.

You're moving at speeds of up to 70 mph when I put the kettle on im definitely safer.

Dangerous situations only occur when someone has made a mistake. The fact freak accidents only happen rarely is directly relevant to whether something is dangerous. Freak accidents can happen doing anything. That doesn't make those activities dangerous activities.

Driving is dangerous whether theres idiots on the road or not.. You disputed that and you're wrong.

Yes I have. And I have sympathy for anyone that is ever hurt or killed in any situation on the roads.

In the instance of black ice, it only occurs in freezing or near to freezing conditions. We should all adjust our driving to allow for the possibility of black ice in those conditions. It's a tragic situation but accidents involving black ice still involve somebody making a mistake. That isn't holier than thou or anything either. We can all make mistakes. It isn't about being a perfect driver. However, when accidents happen it usually involves driver error. Anybody can make bad (or idiotic decisions) but if you removed those from the road then I genuinely don't see any more danger than any other situation at all.
