    Ive a friend that works for sky and he says that generally when the daily mail write a transfer article on Newcastle it is accurate as they have good links with the club and its recruitment. really hope this is the case as Santon would be great. Once one of the hottest young full backs in the world when he emrged for inter.

    Bollocks, we've banned the Daily Mail from our training ground cause they were making **** up about us :p
    However, I'm tempted to believe this one given it turned up in the Chronicle too and Santon fits the bill as a potential signing.

    Can't believe we didn't pick up Yung Ji Mi on a free, he'd have loved to come back to the Premiership, and would've removed the need to ever play Smith again.

    Looks like Santon will just be Enrique's replacement, Pieters deal fell through and Cissokho now saying in france that he never wanted to leave and the manager still wants him. Lets remember we are Newcastle and at the most we'll buy Santon and Maiga!
