    As regards Montgomery, we know we tried to get him last season and there's been lots of rumours recently but so far there has been nothing in the (respected) media about any concrete interest.

    Some random's saying on twitter that it's Adam Le Fondre, which would tie together with other stories that we're signing Montgomery with Billy going the other way.

    Le Fondre is the same type of player as McCormack. We need a target man if we're going for a striker, but to be honest I think the priority is midfield and left-back. My bet is Quinn.

    I don't like the idea of shortly, nearly 7 hours on and nothing, oh well should have known better than to build my hopes up that we were signing anyone yet alone someone half decent.
