cheer up, it is early days yet to be thinking of avoiding relegation, we know you have a devilish sense of humour, trying to buy 2 of our best, and you did catch us on a bad day, although had we had Flinty up and running we would likely have sneaked at least a point or 3 there is still 114 points to play for and you should be up for at least 50 of these should you still be manager as the season draws to a close! best of luck
the time to give managers the boot is seemingly getting shorter, and not always do those old in the teeth succeed. A lot of younger managers are and should rightly be given more time. When I had anything to do with hiring and firing, although not the same as football managers /coach's I always gave them a period to settle down and let them show what "they were capable of" this often led to some very close shaves! but after 3 months I would have a "1 month talk" [ the next month ] Tell them what I thought of them so far, what they were short on and point out errors that should be avoided! success rate was about 80%
