We do have even more problems since his absence though. Henderson being out curtails our season imo.

 

Injuries have not been kind to us starting with Pickford reckless challenge. No choice we have to get on with it.

 

This why he put Fabinho back in midfield and pray Kabak and Davies / Phillips can just hold out. Enough of this cautious / balanced approach. Get a proper ball winner back in midfield who can get the platform for the likes of Thiago / Jones / Naby to attack and get bodies into the box.

 

I agree 100%. It had been obvious for a while that Firmino wasn't at his consistent best. I'm sure the thinking was/is to have a front 4 with Jota interchangeable with Firmino, the games he's played is evidence of this. Either one of them has started and been subbed for the other. Jota can also play Mané's role when Klopp is rotating during heavy fixture runs. When he returns this is what we'll see, him and Bobby having equal playing/bench time.

You're right of course he can play all three front roles, I see him more on for Mané, of the other two, because he's left footed which is ironic in itself.

Ah thanks for that. I hadn't checked it out I just went from watching him play that he seems strongly left footed. So he's like Mané then, right footer on the left wing.

 

Yes, but its easy to see him as a left footer because of where he often plays and the quality of his left foot.
I would bet that was one of the things that persuaded us to get him, its unusual to see genuinely two footed players.

 

Only thing I liked about Nani (as a player), genuinely had an argument with someone over which was his stronger foot
