Good point that JEXA.... question, if we miss an open goal do we replace '****ing hell' with 'Oy vey!!!'
i am sure mclarens expertise with accents will make slutsky feel at home!! could also doss down at stevies gaff,he lives near hull dunt he??
I think Grant's original interest was due to a misunderstanding when our new manager's name was first mentioned.

Bloody hell, what are they trying to do to us, a right pair of lookers! Not. Slutsky may speak better English than Marco, but definitely behind him in the queue when looks given out, not as easy on the eye! Still, if he can win away as well as at home, and ditch the zonal marking, he'll do for me. Just need a full squad of players! Not much to ask?!
Well at least you can concentrate on the game now Tigress instead of focusing ALL your attention on the Technical area... lusting!!
Really hope it’s McClaren – I fear that Grant would be here just for the wage and just for the short term. Nothing unusual with that of course, but how motivated would he be? Would he go the extra mile when needed? It’d just be another stop on the journey I suppose. Whereas McClaren is an ex-Tiger, he knows the city, he likes the city and I assume he knows the Allams and how they work. Plus, he must have a tonne of contacts across the fame. Given his age and recent experiences, he might be happy to stay in the role for the foreseeable, giving us that stability and more importantly, a long term plan carried out by an experienced pro.
No way is McClaren faster than a horse. No way at all. I'd put my money on even a fairly slow horse, every time.
Has it occurred to you that having local connections might actually be a disadvantage for McClaren in this case? The Allams don't seem to trust local fans, local groundsmen, former players (Barmby)etc. After Silva, they have got a taste for a bit of foreign. Cheap, eager, no local connections and thus easier to manage from their viewpoint.
Be careful Des, think you could be getting hustled. Reminds me of Amarillo Slim's famous proposition bet.' Slim once claimed he could outrun champion racehorse Seabiscuit over 100 yards – if he could choose the track. He selected a 50-yard course and in the time it took the jockey to slow the horse and turn around, Slim had sprinted to victory'
