You’re right there will be a big turnover, so it’s very hard to judge where we will be if we stay in the Championship. Get the recruitment right and we could be right up there, get it wrong and we could be right down there.

As I’m a realist I’d say we will **** it up and be fighting relegation

One plus point in living in Bournemouth is I get on the train 30 mins before 36,000 people try.

I am very much looking forward to my 18-minute train ride to the ground this weekend. North London perks.

For all you locals, is it better to buy an all day travel card for the tube from waterloo to Wembley or a return?

Or maybe just use my phone/watch on way in/out?

If you are only planning on going from Waterloo to Wembley and back again then probably worth just using your debit card to tap on/tap off. Travelcard only really worth it if you are planning on using more of the underground

Yep thanks, just googled a bit and it does seem that way. However, I do have a disabled railcard so can get ⅓ off a travel card so that may be cheaper. We are talking pennies though.

It has always been thus. 1976, we were going to be destroyed by Hill and Coppell, and a goal fest was expected. We are never going to be a pundits ideal team as we’re not part of the established order football wise. Annoying yes but am I bothered? No.

Weird that since the inception of the PL we have spent most of our time there and Leeds haven’t .

Exactly. But Leeds are seen as a ‘big club’ despite the more recent history.

I think if we play at our very best, e.g. away to Swansea, we win this regardless. If we play like we do 90% of the time, who knows

That is the first game of football I remember. My Dad sat me down at the age of 6 to watch. All those guys who have a go at Bazunu, what would they have been like after 10 minutes with Ian Turner in goal
