My girlfriend's a Geordie and we met in Manchester, what are the chances. I have to say she does take the regular insults like a champ.
I'm in Oxford at the moment. Work has one mag (friendly banter, but when we play 5-a-side it gets a bit personal) and there are a few in the pubs. The home derby had about a 30/70 mackem/geordie split (literally about 3 of us and 7 of them) - mainly posh young'uns.
Not seen many around Horsley Hill since we beat them at the Wonga Dome, again!, usually they're knocking around going on about getting into Europe! & winning everything & being the best teeem in thu wooooorld!
Seen none down here in Acomb, York but would rather have a few of them instead of these ****ing 'Fraggle Rock' merchants who inhabit this place..
Do you live any where near Carr Lane Joe? We had friends living there who we lost touch with. (They were nice though!!)
He looks as though he just had a gobfull of that chilli con carni that I made last week (put a wee bit too much chilli powder in)
