Has he? JIZZZZ Updated line up #gtfomurphyuscum ASM----------Wood------------Fraser ----Joe-----Shelvey-----Willock-------- Targett---Burn----Schar--------Manquillo ------------------Dubz----------------- If only we had Wilson we'd slaughter the bottom half teams I think.
There will be changes 100% , Bruno if he doesn't start tomorrow will start midweek, Manquillo and ASM are just back from injuries so can't see them playing all 4. Schar and Joelinton are always going down with knocks so I'd expect them to get a rest somewhere in there. Dummy will get min's in this run as well. Howe will want his strongest team out for Chelsea so I'd expect a few to get a rest vs Soton or tomorrow. Might be Krafth and Murphy start the next two and come off to get Manquillo and ASM up to speed and I expect Longstaff (to a lesser extent) and Bruno to start at least 1 maybe 2 out of the next 4. After the 2.5 week break after Everton is a game a week for the last 8 games (bar the re-scheduled Palace game TBC) so this will be the last chance to really rotate the squad for the run in and get players valuable mins in incase they are needed due to injuries and suspensions.
Schar, Dubs and Jo go down with tactical knocks . Allowing instruction from the bench and slowing down the opposition play - keep an eye on it
Dubz maybe. Joelinton is down and getting treatment constantly, Schar, well what can you say, the man loves a lay down and someone to rub his thighs!
They were both doing it under Bruce - you're not suggesting Bruce had the nouse to be giving instructions to players are you?
Joking aside, what do we do if Wood gets injured before Wilson returns? Play Gayle? Play a false 9 system? Shove Joelintin back up front? Play one of the kids? There are a lot fixtures coming up and it's a big ask for him to be doing that pressing game for 90 minutes every match. He could easily get a knock, or just knackered. We are really lacking in options up front.
Some sort of Ukraine display tomorrow by the looks of it. Each to their own but not for me, keep politics out of football. I'm there for the footy.
