we are likely to get Burnley early? first 3 games? and maybe one / 2 of the promoted / relegated in first 6 games
We usually get a horrible opening game Our once proud record of 8 or maybe 9 seasons of going undefeated on the seasons opening day seems light years away now I reckon we’ll get either someone like Middlesbrough or Sunderland away or be home to a fellow relegation favourite like Rotherham
I don't think it matters where and against who we start our history is our worst enemy. We will probably start at home against Rotherham and lose which would set the moaning minnies like myself into overdrive followed by the usual annual questions as to why? How nice it would be to finally see a season of hope rather than the normal dross and excuses but before that has any chance of changing we have to rely on the recruiting and direction the newly minted squad will take under Pearson's new deal. Is Nigel truly the messiah - let's wait and see?
well it seems that the first couple of weeks is a simple plan Blackburn play Birmingham and CITY play BURNLEY you might get Blackpool / Coventry! just a thought ... last year we got Blackpool surely it wont be them ? A !
I wouldn't be surprised if we play one of the other teams from the Championship on the first day of the season!
When I read this it was a Red Arrows situation - right over my head!! Had to Google it, so now I understand!! Shows I’m officially old!!!!
