My wife has asked a few times if we had a game tonight. I said no.

Sounds like it could have been a bit tense

 

A great win must be the first time we have got the 3rd round for a long time. It looks like the never say die attitude has got through to the youngsters as well to score in the 94th min then score all five penalties

To sum up last night game Stevenage made 3 changes from Saturday we made 9 I don't think we have ever made that many changes

 

Were there any injuries last night that's the most important thing for me?

 

How did Taffi look on first game back? And how did TJ, Burley and RAM look. Is it looking like we have a great squad consisting of 9 or more youngsters?

When you look back a couple of years we couldn't even fill a bench, & Ainsworth as a sub

 

And our no 2 keeper was close to getting his pension.

Never lost away from home 100% record, it's the game that all footballers at our level dream about, at least Gareth will put out a decent side, & most certainly the Beast will come as a sub.

 

Also the publicity around the game as well.

 

I remember the visit to Maine road well and the home fixture with the Gallaghers in one of the boxes in the Woodlands trying to give it large (as we beat them again). I think we are their bogey team

 

I thought we had only played them in the league not the league cup as well

 

I think it was just the two league fixtures

I see we also get 45% of the gate money as well, i bet there won't any players carrying injuries that day they will all to play

 

It's something I often recall, that we did the double over them in the League. I suspect they have more expensive players now

I think when we played Spurs, any one of their players cost something times the cost of our complete squad
