    That's the one.

I played in their footy team back in '94.Great memories.

We used to meet up in the boozer and down a couple of pints before the game just to loosen the joints.

The bloke who ran the team( went by the name of Minty) used to go mental saying it was unprofessional !

It was a pub team for ****s sake , what did he expect ?

My record was 4 pints before kick off, which on top of the skin full from the night before meant I was pretty much mullered.

Good enough for George Best, good enough for me, that's what I used to say.

You go to Priestfield often then ?

Too much deadwood in the England team, when we got hammered by Germany in the World Cup they said they specifically were targetting Terry because he is slow and ****, what does Capello do, give him the captaincy so we are stuck with a player other countries know is a weak link.

I have to say I agree. Even up to Champions League level, a player like Terry can rely on their reading of the game to make up for a lack of pace, but certainly not at a World Cup.

I was at 12 RSME for a bit as well as Chattenden and Kitchener. That should give away what I was doing down there.

I've been back up north for 16 years now.

It's over 40 years, the last time we beat you was 22nd May 1968 and we won 3-1.

I went to our last game, in Saitama(Toyko) during the 2006 World Cup, it was a **** game and they only served alcohol free lager!

That is what I was more or less inferring .Allowing for the fact I'm more than well aware of the substitution rules that applied ,which HOADIE wished to impress upon me.

I guessed that, mate, but as you probably gathered from my rants yesterday, the really pissed me off with there lack of effort!
HOADIE maybe thought you were being serious about the substitution thing, or, thought you believed that we can sub as many times as we like A.K.A. Friendlies!!

I think it's more of a case of increasing his Posts ,Points etc than anything ("yes") as a post on one topic that I saw hardly warranting the effort and hardly illuminating. What is the term for "self importance" ? Who does HOADIE support? He appears to post on several boards to get his points up.

I thought they played pretty well, and I thought the midfield looked like they knew their roles as they didn't bugger about with square pegs, round holes.
The game was over after 20 minutes, and England ran the game for most of it.
It doesn't prove much, Wales were very poor. But it's ok.
I think the main problem is after yet another crashing disappointment at the world cup - how did the team and manager look so assured in qualifying then screw up - most fans have got fed up with the team, myself included. So we look at everything through ****-tinted glasses.
I reckon Mr Redknapps just the chap to get things rolling again, if the FA have the guts.

I don't think Capello's ****ty....his track record (bar the massively bodged WC) is second to none. But the media will lever him out in the end. Redknapp is tactically sharp, a top motivator, plays the media like a violin and understands english footballers better than anyone. So he'd be my choice.

    Rant over for the International!

Let's start ranting over the friendly!!

How many do you think we will get beaten by, or, will we win, and by what margin?

Will it be good/bad enough for us to want, Shrek, et al to have been playing?

Will we want shot of the" Italian Job"?

Will people be shouting for "The North London ****" to be manager, again?

Will there be Bluebirds over the white cliffs of Dover?

Will OLM still be pissed in the PRC?

All these questions, and, many more will be answered in next weeks episode of SOAP
